STOPAIDS unites UK voices on the global response to HIV and AIDS. We are driven by the commitment and expertise of our supporters, members and partners. In particular, we value and seek to increase participation by those affected by HIV, both in the UK and abroad.
If you are working in the HIV, global health, or development sectors, the best way to get involved with our work is to become a member. Our membership is made up of organisations from across the country, working on a range of issues related to the global HIV response. We take a collaborative approach to all our work, and our impact is only possible through the expertise and insight of our membership.
Read more about our working groups here, and get involved in our advocacy and information exchange work.
Much of our work is only possible with the support of members of the public, joining us to ensure the voices of people living with and affected by HIV are heard. Get involved in our campaigning on access to medicines and other issues by contacting Info@stopaids.org.uk.
The Student Stop AIDS Campaign is instrumental in STOPAIDS campaigning work, bringing together the voices of student groups at 18 universities across the country calling for equitable access to medicines, a fully funded global response, and an end to stigma and discrimination against people living with HIV. Read more about the Student Stop AIDS Campaign on their website, or get in touch with Saoirse.
STOPAIDS’ advocacy work is supported by a number of Ministers and Parliamentarians, notably through our work with the All-Party Parliamentary Group on HIV and AIDS. You can read more about our advocacy work here, and you can get in touch with Ben for more information.
STOPAIDS welcomes contact from new individuals or organisations that want to improve access to prevention, treatment, support and care for the millions affected by HIV and AIDS around the world. Please do get in touch via email@example.com

We receive no funding from the government, which allows us to advocate from a position of independence. We are solely funded by trusts and foundations, and donations from individuals, who share our vision:
“Of a world in which people with HIV are at the centre of a fully financed response which protects, respects and fulfills human rights, where all people with HIV are healthy and safe, and where all people without HIV remain HIV-free.”
